IYT New Student Orientation

At IYT at Aptos Middle School, we had a Welcome to the Brotherhood event for 6th and 7th graders who showed interest in joining IYT. We gave them a little taste of IYT culture and what the program is all about.

We took time to establish the importance of setting goals, having commitments, and understanding personal motivations. We wanted brothers to have a sense of this early on in the year so that we can use these conversations to push greater ones about college and academic achievement further.

Brother of the Month

Brother Kamaud

Brother Kamaud continues to be a shining example of IYT core values and shows maturity beyond his years. He always shows up and puts his best foot forward and encourages other brothers to do the same. He maintains an excellent GPA and is always an active participant in IYT activities and group discussions.
