Parents and students from both Hong Kingston and Rio Calaveras join IYT for an exciting orientation

At IYT at Rio Calaveras and Hong Kingston, families came together for an evening full of connection, learning, and excitement about the year ahead.  Parents and students had the chance to meet the IYT team, enjoy delicious food and refreshments, and take part in exciting raffle prizes. The room was filled with positive energy and great conversations, with Principal Juarez even stopping by to join the fun. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the night such a success—your support continues to strengthen our IYT community and the bonds of brotherhood.

Brother Maurice posing for a photo.

Brother Maurice is a shining example of balance, discipline, and determination. As both a member of his school’s football team and a dedicated player in a local junior league, he continues to excel on and off the field. Despite a demanding schedule filled with practices and games, Maurice maintains an impressive 3.7 GPA. His focus, work ethic, and leadership embody what it means to be a true student-athlete and a proud representative of the IYT community.

Brother Jaymon writes why he thinks IYT exists and what the program means to him.

Brothers at IYT Hong Kingston recently participated in an inspiring workshop focused on understanding the roots and mission of IYT.  The session guided brothers through a reflection of IYT’s core values—Service, Character, Liberation, and Teamwork—and encouraged them to connect each value to experiences. Students also shared their thoughts on why IYT exists and how the program impacts their lives, school, and community. The workshop not only deepened their appreciation for the program’s purpose but also strengthened the bond of brotherhood that continues to drive IYT’s mission forward.
