This September, IYT at Merced High School kicked off the year by connecting with families and setting a collaborative tone at Back to School Night. This forward-looking spirit was mirrored in our programming, as our seniors began the crucial work of preparing their college and scholarship applications. These long-term goals are supported by our dedicated Monday and Wednesday workshops, which provide a balance of academic study hall and wellness activities. Embodying this spirit of growth, our newest member, Xavier, was honored as Brother of the Month for his remarkable improvement and positive engagement.

IYT at Merced High School had a fantastic presence at Back to School Night on September 23rd! This was a wonderful opportunity to connect with parents and families, share valuable information about our program, and answer questions about the year ahead. The energy and engagement from the families were incredible, setting a positive and collaborative tone for the school year.
Seniors Pave the Way to College
Our seniors working on their college portals and scholarships.
This September, our senior brothers have been laser-focused on their futures. They have been diligently working on crucial college prep, proactively gathering materials for their applications, tackling the FAFSA, and starting their scholarship searches. This foundational work is a major step in their journey to higher education, and we are incredibly proud of their focus and commitment to their goals.

The heart of our program beats strongest on Mondays and Wednesdays. These after-school sessions are dedicated to our brothers' holistic growth, providing a balanced focus on academic support during our structured study hall and personal development through wellness-related workshops. This dedicated time ensures every student has the resources to excel in the classroom while also learning valuable skills to navigate life's challenges.
