Month in Review

This September, IYT at Weaver Middle School focused on building a strong foundation for the new year. We kicked things off with a high-energy Welcome Back event that brought our brothers together for fun and fellowship. Our weekly workshops began, establishing a routine of academic support and wellness discussions to ensure holistic growth. Embodying the very spirit of our program, Elias was honored as Brother of the Month for his exceptional leadership and unwavering commitment to making everyone feel welcome.

IYT at Weaver Middle School kicked off the new school year with a vibrant Welcome Back event! The afternoon was filled with delicious pizza, classic root beer floats, and fun activities like apple bobbing and painting. More than just a party, this was a fantastic opportunity for new and returning members to connect, build community, and start the year with a strong sense of brotherhood. The energy and laughter set a perfect, positive tone for the months ahead.

The Foundation for Success

The most important work gets done on Tuesdays and Thursdays at IYT, which are dedicated to our brothers' holistic growth. These after-school sessions provide a balanced focus on both academic support during our structured study hall and personal development through wellness-related workshops. This dedicated time ensures that every student has the resources to excel in the classroom while also learning valuable skills for navigating life's challenges, building a strong foundation for a successful school year.

Brother Elias

We are proud to honor Elias as our September Brother of the Month! Elias is a junior mentor who radiates our core values and serves as a vital member of our brotherhood. He makes it a point to ensure everyone feels seen and welcomed, from saying goodbye to each person before leaving to leading his team with enthusiasm during our rituals. His positive presence is so impactful that it's deeply missed on the rare occasion he isn't there. For these reasons and so many more, Elias is a perfect example of what it means to be an IYT leader. Congratulations!
